Role

I am repsonsible for the management of the total audit portfolio of the AGSA. This includes strategic alignment, business management, people management and cost management. I report to the Deputy Auditor-General and have five corporate executives, one analyst and one executive assistant reporting to me.

Prior work experience

I have 3,5 years’ post-qualification audit experience and 1,5 years’ commercial accounting experience. Followed by five years as a practice reviewer and then eight years as director of practice review at the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors.

Education

Degree: Bachelor of Commerce – University of Natal Higher Diploma in Accountancy – University of Natal Qualification: Chartered Accountant (South Africa), Registered Auditor
