AGSA wins Icons Award at Public Sector Leaders Summit

The AGSA has been recognised for its commitment to leadership, innovation and impact, receiving an Icons Award at the Public Sector Leaders Summit 2026, hosted by Topco Media.

Held under the theme Turning Policy Into Performance, Promises Into Progress, the summit brought together public sector leaders, decision-makers and industry experts to explore practical solutions for advancing South Africa's development agenda. Conversations focused on action, accountability and adaptability as key drivers of meaningful progress and improved service delivery.

Representing the AGSA was DAG Bongi Ngoma, who attended the summit and proudly accepted the award on behalf of the organisation.

The Icons Awards recognise public sector institutions that demonstrate outstanding leadership, go beyond the ordinary and drive groundbreaking initiatives that contribute to shaping the future of the country. The recognition highlights the AGSA's continued efforts to strengthen accountability, promote good governance and deliver insights that support a better South Africa.

As we continue our journey of Illuminating Insights for a Better South Africa, this recognition serves as both a proud milestone and a reminder of the value we create for citizens through our mandate.

Congratulations to all AGSA employees for this well-deserved recognition.
