The Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) has noted with concern the comments by the Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements and Infrastructure Development about the audit outcomes of the human settlements department. This concluded audit outcome followed all the necessary procedures and was signed off following detailed engagement with the management, accounting officer and audit committee of the department on 31 July 2022.
